My guest was Dan Roberts who wrote an excellent article entitled, “Heeding God’s Call, or Hubris in God’s Name”. I met him at Delia’s Gun Store in Philly when we were there to support the gun store owner, Fred Delia who has come under attack by a group that calls themselves, Heeding God’s Call. They have been harrassing this law abiding gun store owner because they want him to sign a statement which he feels no need to sign and I agree with him. Listen in as we discuss the positions taken by various religious leaders about your right to defend yourself. You’ll be surprised to learn that even Ghandi stated, “Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.”
