Group manipulation tactics.  Do you know you are being manipulated? Few people do and why would you?  You wouldn’t. And manipulators are trained and skilled at manipulation. Slick is a word that describes them.

Before you volunteer for that curriculum committee, school violence task force or focus group; before you run for school board or PTA president: Find out who the professional manipulators are and how they’re going to get you to stick your foot in your mouth. There is a hands-on workshop in strategies used to silence parents and concerned citizens and generate a predetermined consensus on controversial issues.

Beverly Eckman joins me again today to discuss how to combat professional agitators, facilitators, moderators, and provocateurs. We discussed how terms are redefined and no longer mean what they did originally.  We discussed political correctness and the manipulation of children in our education system. Beverly references an 1895 8th grade test which none of us could pass. She is the author of several articles and books including, “How to Counter Group Manipulation Tactics: The Techniques of Unethical Consensus-Building Unmasked.”,-1895.html 1895 8th grade test
