Sunday March 4th  Sid Preskitt

Sid Preskitt joins me to discuss fishing or lack thereof. Lots of fish in the seas, but we’re not allowed to fish for them.

Sid said our American fishery regulations (offshore in the EEZ) are being brought under Agenda 21. Since 1998 this has decimated the American fishing industry. It is the prime reason we have a seafood trade deficit over $10 billion and growing (re-distribution of wealth as per Agenda 21) and import 84% of our seafood while we have proven healthy fish stocks that are severely, artificially restricted or as in the case of red snapper completely closed.

Under the law of the sea, an exclusive economic zone (EEZ) is a seazone over which a state has special rights over the exploration and use of marine resources, including production of energy from water and wind[1]. It stretches from the seaward edge of the state’s territorial sea out to 200 nautical miles from its coast. In casual usage, the term may include the territorial sea and even the continental shelf beyond the 200-mile limit.
